Turkish actor Burak Deniz has visited Egypt’s famous Pyramids of Giza during a promotional tour of the country, receiving guidance from Ashraf Mohy El-Din, General Director of Giza Antiquities.
The 33-year-old actor toured the Giza archaeological complex and shared his impressions with local media after visiting some of Egypt’s most famous ancient landmarks.
Deniz’s visit included the Great Pyramid of Khufu, where he went through the pyramid’s internal passages and chambers, including the King’s Chamber.
He also visited the area associated with Khufu’s mortuary temple, viewed the smaller pyramids of Khafre and Menkaure and saw the Great Sphinx.
The actor described the experience as a dream come true, reflecting the significance of visiting one of the world’s most recognisable archaeological sites.

Burak Deniz’s Connection With Egyptian Audiences
Deniz is already familiar to many Egyptian viewers through his work in popular Turkish television dramas.
His credits include the romantic comedy Aşk Laftan Anlamaz, the drama series Bizim Hikaye and the murder-mystery drama Bambaşka Biri.
Turkish television dramas, commonly known as dizi, have developed a particularly strong audience across the Middle East and Arabic-speaking countries.
Actors from Turkey have therefore developed international fanbases far beyond their home market, with Egypt being one of the countries where Turkish entertainment has maintained strong visibility.
Turkish Actors and Tourism in Egypt
Deniz’s visit also fits into a broader connection between Turkish entertainment stars and Egypt’s tourism industry.
High-profile Turkish actors visiting well-known Egyptian destinations can attract significant attention from fans, particularly when their trips are shared through local media and social media platforms.
The Pyramids of Giza are among Egypt’s most recognisable tourist attractions, making the site a natural destination for international celebrities visiting the country.
For Deniz, the visit combined a promotional appearance with an opportunity to experience one of the world’s most famous ancient monuments.
His time inside the Great Pyramid and visit to the Sphinx gave Egyptian fans another opportunity to see the Turkish actor engaging with a major part of the country’s cultural heritage.
The Egypt tour also adds to Deniz’s international profile at a time when Turkish dramas continue to attract audiences across the Middle East and other international markets.
