Davido Adds ₦-Millionaire Luxury Maybach GLS 600 to His Garage After Erigga Exchange
Davido has once again made headlines over his luxury lifestyle after adding a brand-new Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600 to his already impressive car collection.
The timing of the purchase has attracted even more attention because it came shortly after his online exchange with rapper Erigga, giving fans plenty to talk about.
Davido has just added a brand-new Mercedes-Benz Maybach GLS 600 to his garage hours after the family-money exchange with Erigga.
The dealership confirmed the purchase on September 3 with photos of the luxury SUV already heading to Atlanta. Davido liked the post himself. The timing landed right in the middle of the online exchange where he dismissed Erigga’s post as useless motivation and talked about walking away from music to chase billions. Fans immediately linked the buy to the beef, calling it a silent clap-back in metal form.
One of the most exclusive SUVs on the market, the Maybach GLS 600 carries a base price around $180,000 before options and shipping. Fully loaded versions push past $200,000. That kind of money still turns heads even in Davido’s circle. Comments under the dealership post mixed admiration with side-eye, some saying the flex was unnecessary while others simply posted fire emojis and money-rain stickers.
The Maybach Purchase Fuels More Online Reactions
The singer has built one of the most talked-about car collections in Afrobeats over the years. This latest addition fits the pattern of high-end statements that arrive when the timeline is already loud. No official word from his camp beyond the quiet like on the announcement. The car is currently in transit while the earlier exchange continues to pull fresh quotes and screenshots.
People keep circulating the dealership pictures alongside the original Erigga posts. The combination has kept the conversation alive longer than a regular car drop would. Period. The Maybach sits as the newest chapter in a week that started with words and ended with chrome.
Whether the timing was intentional or simply a coincidence, fans have already attached their own meaning to the purchase. For Davido, however, the latest Maybach adds another expensive machine to a collection that has remained a regular source of conversation among Afrobeats followers and luxury-car enthusiasts.
