Niger Tornadoes Chairman Reveals Why Club Chose Bwari for Pre-Season Camp

Niger Tornadoes chairman Abubakar Kuso has explained the club’s decision to hold its pre-season camping exercise in Bwari, saying the location was carefully selected to help the team prepare effectively for the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
According to Kuso, the management wanted an environment that would allow players and coaching staff to remain fully focused without unnecessary distractions during the crucial preparation period.
The club believes the peaceful atmosphere in Bwari will help improve teamwork, fitness levels, tactical awareness, and overall readiness before the start of the campaign.
Club Targets Strong Preparations Ahead of New Season
As part of the camping programme, Niger Tornadoes will engage in a series of friendly matches designed to assess the squad’s fitness and tactical progress.
The pre-season fixtures are expected to give the coaching crew an opportunity to evaluate both experienced players and new additions before finalising plans for the upcoming league season.
The club will also compete in a pre-season tournament after completing the camping exercise, providing another platform to sharpen the team’s performance ahead of competitive action.
Kuso Urges Players to Maintain Discipline
Abubakar Kuso also challenged the players to approach the camp with the highest level of professionalism.
He urged every member of the squad to remain disciplined, united, committed, and dedicated throughout the camping period, stressing that those qualities will be vital to the team’s ambitions in the new season.
With preparations now underway, Niger Tornadoes will be hoping the intensive training camp and scheduled warm-up matches provide the perfect foundation for a successful NPFL campaign.
