Nigerian winger Chidera Ejuke made his mark for Sevilla on Saturday night, scoring as the Spanish side secured an impressive 3-1 away victory over Athletic Bilbao at San Mamés.
The win gives Sevilla six points from their opening two matches of the new LaLiga season and further boosts their confidence after a strong start.
Athletic Bilbao Reduced to 10 Men Early
Sevilla were handed a major advantage just 11 minutes into the game when Athletic Bilbao defender Yuri Berchiche was shown a straight red card.

Ejuke Makes Immediate Impact
Ejuke was introduced shortly after the break and wasted little time making his presence felt.
The Nigerian winger doubled Sevilla’s advantage in the 50th minute with a composed finish after receiving a pass from Isaac Romero.
It was an important contribution from Ejuke, who showed his attacking quality at a crucial moment of the game.
Romero then added Sevilla’s third goal seven minutes later to put the visitors firmly in control.
Athletic Bilbao managed to pull one goal back in the 73rd minute through Aitor Paredes, but Sevilla held on comfortably to claim all three points.
