Nigerian Teenager David Oludase Signs for Swedish Club AIK
Nigerian youngster David Oluwaseyi Oludase has completed a move to Swedish club AIK, where he will continue his development after impressing during a trial period.
The Stockholm-based club confirmed the signing of the 18-year-old forward from Ikon Allah Football Academy.
Oludase has agreed to a contract that will keep him at AIK until December 31, 2029.
He is expected to begin his time at the club with the academy side before making the step up to AIK’s senior team.
Oludase Impresses During AIK Trial
The teenager earned his move after spending one month on trial with AIK, where his performances convinced the Swedish club to offer him a long-term contract.
Speaking after completing the move, Oludase described joining AIK as an important milestone in his young career.
“Signing for AIK is a big step in my career, and I can’t wait to get started on the pitch,” he said.
Oludase now joins an AIK development setup that has recently helped another Nigerian youngster attract attention in England.
Zadok Yohanna also came through the Swedish club’s academy before leaving AIK for Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion during the summer.
The move gives Oludase an opportunity to follow a similar development path as he begins his career in European football.
