Siminalayi Fubara rallies support for Bola Tinubu second term, calls for national unity ahead of 2027

Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers State, says Nigerians need to unite and support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in the 2027 elections. The appeal was made by Fubara, who just joined the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the announcement of the commencement of a meeting of the Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council in Port Harcourt.

The President also requested the people to support him so that he could carry out his objectives for the progress of the nation.

He described President Tinubu as a loyal and patriotic leader deserving of another term and voiced confidence in his “Renewed Hope Agenda” and its focus on balanced development, national security, and economic change.

According to Fubara, the Tinubu administration has achieved significant strides over the past three years, and he believes that further advancements could be made if the president is re-elected in 2027. He went on to explain that notwithstanding certain areas, the President’s leadership and reform plan are trusted.

The meeting, which included traditional leaders from the South-South, South-East, and South-West, focused on how traditional institutions promote peace, unity, and advancement in Southern Nigeria.
