Davido Fires Fresh Shot at MC Oluomo Amid Osun NURTW Ban Controversy

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has once again taken aim at Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, as tensions continue to rise over the ban on the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Osun State.
The online exchange comes after Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke ordered the suspension of NURTW operations across the state ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
According to the state government, the decision was introduced to restore order in motor parks and halt the collection of illegal levies.
However, MC Oluomo, who serves as the national president of the union, dismissed the directive, insisting that the Osun State government lacks the authority to suspend the union’s activities.
