The Peoples Democratic Party Board of Trustees (BoT), chaired over by Adolphus Wabara, and the National Working Committee (NWC), led by Tanimu Turaki, are now meeting behind closed doors.
The meeting is being held in Abuja.
The faction has met three times this week.
At a similar meeting on Wednesday, the group led by Turaki stated that it was amenable to reconciliation with the camp headed by Minister Nyesom Wike of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Additionally, Turaki affirmed that there are encouraging indications that the two PDP factions are approaching a ceasefire.
The PDP caretaker committee, led by Abdulrahman Mohamed and supported by Wike, has also stated that it is open to reconciliation. However, the faction made a list of demands, stating that its planned national conference, which is set for March 29 and 30, must take place.
Former Niger State Governor Babangida Aliyu, former Kano State Governor Ibrahim Shekarau, and former information minister Prof. Jerry Gana are among those in attendance at the current conference.
