Nigerian Skitmaker Broda Shaggi Speaks Out Right After Sango-Ota Shooting

After barely escaping a potentially fatal gun-related event, Nigerian comedian Samuel Perry, better known by his stage name Broda Shaggi, posted his first social media post.

Remember that Shaggi was admitted to the hospital following an alleged shooting in the Sango-Ota region of Ogun State?

A police source who spoke to Punch stated that the content creator was shot while recording a comedy routine at the location, despite the fact that the circumstances surrounding the incident at the time were unknown.

According to the source, Shaggi was taken right away to the Blooming Care Hospital in Lagos State’s Alakuko neighbourhood, where he received preliminary care.

The source stated, “We don’t have details on how it happened yet, but his crew members who were present quickly rushed him to the hospital.” He was shooting a skit beneath the Sango-Ota bridge when he was shot. The source also stated that when he arrived, the hospital’s medical staff gave him first assistance.

But as worries about his health grew, Broda Shaggi posted a mysterious message to his followers on his Instagram story. The skitmaker alluded to suppressing his thoughts, implying that if he expressed himself completely, his comments might be removed.

“But if you are going to leave this world behind, leave it as a good person… it is 4am and I wish I could pour out my mind, but I can’t because they will be deleted,” he wrote.
