Tinubu Reacts To El-Rufai Mother d@ath

Mallam Nasir El Rufai, a former governor of Kaduna State, received a condolence message from President Bola Tinubu over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Umma. Due to sickness, Hajiya Umma passed away in Cairo on Friday.

In a statement issued late on Friday night and signed by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Information & Strategy, he commended her extraordinary life.

“Nasir, please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beloved mother, Hajiya Umma, which happened in Cairo today,” it said in part.

“I understand your sadness because I also lost an old mother. I am aware of how deeply you have been affected.

“The pain of losing a mother is unparalleled. I pray that the memories of her love, wisdom, and leadership may bring you peace in the days ahead, even though I know there are no words that can completely heal your loss.

“I also hope that the extraordinary life she led and the principles she instilled in the whole family will give you courage.”
