Officer Woos, a Nigerian content maker, has refuted reports of his colleague Broda Shaggy passing away. According to a newspaper, two days earlier, an X blogger named @Ghost91on stated that Broda Shaggy’s close colleague, Officer Woos, had posted on Instagram to notify his passing.

As he posted a photo of Broda Shaggy, @Ghost91on stated, “Officer Woos just reported the passing of his brother Broda Shaggi via his Instagram page. May his spirit find eternal rest.

Officer Woos responded to the widely circulated image by posting a screenshot of it on his Instagram story along with the word “false.”

Additionally, in a statement from Versed Attorneys, his attorney, the content developer

“We represent Mr. Jubril bril Oladapo Gbadamosi, also known as “Officer Woos” (“our Client”), a well-known content creator and public figure, and we are writing this statement in response to malicious and false publications that are currently making the rounds on social media, especially X (formerly Twitter).”

“The client has learned that several unknown and unreliable social media pages have made claims that our client publicly announced the death of a close colleague on his official page.

The passing of any friend, associate, or coworker has never been announced by our client on any of his sites. These articles are completely fake and are an intentional attempt to mislead the public, the statement stated.

Additionally, the material producer vowed to take all those accountable for the dissemination to court.

Three months after Broda Shaggy was shot during filming at the Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun state in March 2026, there were rumours of his death, according to a newspaper.

Broda Shaggy hasn’t discussed the issue with the public since it happened.
