Nancy Isime: I Don’t Believe Marrying a Poor Man Can Make You Happy

Nancy Isime, a Nollywood actress, has expressed her thoughts on how money affects marriages and relationships. The actress stated that she doesn’t think a woman can have a wonderful life by marrying a poor man.

Isime clarified that financial strain can deprive impoverished couples of the joy of marriage and family on a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast.

“I don’t think marrying a poor man can make you happy, but marriage is not a plan to alleviate poverty.

“Having a great life is challenging when rent is due, school fees cannot be paid, and there is no food in the house.”

“I’m not suggesting that without money, love cannot exist. However, a wonderful life and love are not the same thing, she added.

She argued that before getting married and starting a family, intended couples should be somewhat financially secure.
