Mo Bimpe Threatens Legal Action Over Viral Fake Paternity Claim About Her Triplets
Nollywood actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, has threatened to take legal action after a viral social media post falsely alleged that one of her newborn triplets was not fathered by her husband, actor Lateef Adedimeji.
The actress strongly dismissed the allegation as fake, warning online trolls against spreading fabricated stories about her family and children.
Fake Divorce and Paternity Claim Goes Viral
The controversy began after an X (formerly Twitter) user, @iam_Mardiyyah, shared a post claiming that Lateef Adedimeji had allegedly filed for divorce after a hospital discovered that one of the triplets was not biologically his.
The viral post further claimed that the actor’s blood donation was rejected at a general hospital because his blood group allegedly did not match that of one of the babies. It also alleged that this led to a DNA test, which supposedly revealed that Lateef was not the biological father of the children.
The claims quickly circulated across social media, attracting reactions from fans before being denied by Mo Bimpe.
Mo Bimpe Fires Back at Online Trolls
Reacting through her Instagram Story on Tuesday, Mo Bimpe described the report as completely false and accused social media trolls of fabricating lies using fake and AI-generated images.
The actress made it clear that while she has ignored online attacks against her over the years, she would not tolerate false stories involving her children.
Sharing the viral post, she wrote:
“I don’t want to hear justice for whatever your stupid name is by the time I am ready for you! You silly trolls have constantly trolled me on these platforms for years & I’ve been quiet, but what I wouldn’t take is you bringing your stupidity to my children!!! Be warned! I won’t hesitate to take the right action if need be.”
She added:
“It’s the nerve to post fake/AI pictures together with fabricated lies for me! Such effrontery!”
Actress Warns Against Spreading False Information
Mo Bimpe’s latest response signals that she is prepared to pursue legal action against individuals responsible for spreading what she described as malicious and fabricated claims.
Her warning also highlights growing concerns over the increasing use of AI-generated images and false narratives on social media to spread misinformation about public figures.
