Former Minister Solomon Dalung Blows Hot: INEC Is Still Operating Within Confusion

According to Solomon Dalung, the former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is the government’s lowest-rated organization.

Citing the results of the 2023 election, Dalung claimed that INEC is still functioning within the bounds of confusion while answering questions in an interview on Trust TV on Wednesday.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain said that the mere mention of the electoral umpire calibrates some people’s blood pressure because of what they have endured, while pushing INEC to restore its reputation.

“When someone sits down to say, technical glitch, and says, I’ve declared the results, if you disagree, then go to court,” he stated. Nigerians have suffered greatly as a result of this.

Therefore, it is up to INEC to improve its reputation because, based on their body language, they are still acting in a confusing manner. Thus, we are still unable to judge them.

They might choose to act justly and in accordance with future generations. that I would prefer not to forecast. However, I believe INEC has the lowest rating among Nigerian institutions.
