Atiku Abubakar declares 2027 as his last run for the presidency

Atiku Abubakar, a former vice president, has said that the general election in 2027 will be his final run for president. In an interview with Arise TV on Wednesday, Atiku revealed this.

“This will be my final attempt in 2027. “I think that would be my last chance, so the stakes are higher,” Atiku remarked.

According to newspaper reports, Atiku ran for president multiple times but was unsuccessful.

In the general elections of 2023, he was the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate.
