Stop Using Mr Ibu’s Name to Beg’ — Actor Tenkobo Slams Late Actor’s Widow

The late Nollywood star Mr Ibu’s last wife, Stella Maris Okafor, was confronted by Nigerian comedian actor Fred Ebere, better known by his stage name Tenkobo, for asking for money online.

Newspaper reports that Stella requested financial assistance from the public in a video posted by Nigerian influencer King Mitchy on Wednesday due to her purported incapacity to cover her children’s tuition and house rent.

In response to the viral video, Mr. Ibu’s close colleague and family friend Fred Ebere, better known by his stage name Tenkobo, accused Stella Maris of extorting the public by using her husband’s name and celebrity.

Tenkobo demanded her to account for the money after accusing her and other family members of selling Ibu’s investments, which included homes and landed properties.

“Does it mean that because you are the wife of a legend, you should not work, get handwork, or have something doing?” he asked, speculating about what would happen if Ibu weren’t an actress. What happens if Ibu isn’t an actor?

“Guys, that’s the voice of Mr. Ibu’s first son, Valentine Okafor,” he stated, sharing specifics of his phone call with Ibu’s family. If he is not quite 40, he is in his late 30s.
