Tinubu Aide Ja’oji Resigned Ahead Of 2027

Ahead to the 2027 general elections, Nasir Bala Aminu, also referred to as Ja’oji, resigned as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Senior Special Assistant on Citizenship and Leadership.
According to reports, he resigned in response to President Tinubu order for any political appointees who wanted to run for elective office in 2027 to quit by March 31, 2026, at the latest.
Ministers, senior special assistants, special advisors, and other political appointees working in the present administration are covered by the directive. In his letter of resignation, Ja’oji thanked the president for giving him the chance to serve and described his nomination as a strong indication of the administration’s dedication to young participation and leadership development, according to Daily Trust.
He stated that President Tinubu faith in young Nigerians potential and his goal of enabling them to make important contributions to the country growth are the reasons behind his appointment to important positions.
Ja’oji also expressed his commitment to the president and promised to support the administration objectives going forward. He added that he is still prepared to serve the nation in whatever capacity should the need arise.
