Femi Adebayo’s Ex-Wife Breaks Silence, Denies Viral Claims Linking Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele to Marriage Crash

Omotayo Sanusi, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo, has publicly dismissed viral claims alleging that actresses Toyin Abraham and Funke Akindele contributed to the breakdown of her marriage.

Sanusi, popularly known as Iyan Aladuke, described the allegations making the rounds on social media as completely false, saying she decided to speak out because the story was repeatedly being presented as factual.

The controversy resurfaced after a video by social media personality Mama Esabod reignited old rumours surrounding her marriage.

Omotayo Sanusi Says Viral Story Is False

In a statement shared on her Instagram page, Sanusi explained that she had intentionally avoided responding to the many rumours surrounding her failed marriage. However, she said the continued spread of misinformation forced her to address one of the most talked-about allegations.

According to her, the claim that Toyin Abraham informed her of an alleged romantic relationship between Femi Adebayo and Funke Akindele during the production of Jagun Jagun Part 2 is entirely fabricated.

She insisted that no such conversation ever happened.

Denies Confronting Anyone on the Jagun Jagun Part 2 Set

One of the most widely circulated versions of the story claimed Sanusi stormed the movie set and confronted Funke Akindele after receiving information from Toyin Abraham.

Sanusi firmly denied the allegation, stating that no confrontation, harassment or assault ever occurred on any movie location.

She said:

“The allegation that actress Toyin Abraham was responsible for the problems in my marriage by allegedly informing me that another actress was with my then-partner on a movie set is completely false.”

She added:

“For the record, I never confronted, attacked, assaulted, or harassed any woman or man at any movie location.”

She Says She Was Present Throughout Production

Sanusi also questioned the credibility of the viral claims by revealing that she spent the entire production period of Jagun Jagun Part 2 on set.

According to her, she supervised the welfare of more than 500 cast and crew members alongside her team throughout the production, which lasted for over a month.

She argued that if such a dramatic confrontation had truly happened, numerous cast and crew members would have witnessed it.

Funke Akindele Allegations Also Dismissed

Sanusi equally rejected claims suggesting she accused Funke Akindele of having an affair with Femi Adebayo.

She described the allegations as baseless and challenged anyone making such accusations to provide credible evidence to support them.

According to her, the stories being circulated online are false narratives that have been repeatedly recycled without proof.

No Response Yet From Other Parties

As of the time of writing, neither Femi Adebayo, Toyin Abraham nor Funke Akindele has publicly responded to Sanusi’s statement.

The controversy continues to generate conversations across social media, but Sanusi maintains that the allegations linking the two actresses to the collapse of her marriage are entirely untrue.
