“He Threw Me Out at Midnight” — Nigerian Lady Recounts Disturbing Date Experience After Meeting Man on TikTok

A Nigerian lady has sparked conversations on social media after sharing what she described as a traumatic dating experience with a man she met on TikTok, alleging that he forced her out of his house in the middle of the night after she refused to have sex with him.

Her account, which has gone viral online, has drawn mixed reactions, with many users debating the risks of meeting people through social media and the importance of personal safety when visiting someone for the first time.

How the Relationship Began

According to the lady, she met the man on TikTok in February, and the two gradually developed a romantic relationship.

She explained that the man appeared caring during the early stages of their conversations. He reportedly never asked her for money and once bought her 500MB of mobile data after she mentioned she could not afford to stay online.

She said those gestures made her believe he was genuine and serious about the relationship.

Journey to Osogbo

The lady revealed that a few weeks before her birthday, the man became upset after she greeted him casually during one of their conversations.

To settle the disagreement, he allegedly insisted that she travel to Osogbo, where he claimed to be staying at the time.

According to her, although he had previously told her he lived in Lagos, he later explained that he was visiting his hometown.

She said she paid for her own transportation to Osogbo and even covered an extra passenger fare after the bus conductor said the vehicle could not leave without one more passenger.

Recounting the experience, she said:

“I paid for my transport to Osogbo. At some point, the bus needed one more passenger before it could leave, and he started shouting at me to pay for it, so I did. When I got there, I was so disappointed. He looked nothing like the person I had imagined.”

Allegations of Unwanted Advances

According to the lady, things became uncomfortable shortly after she arrived at the man’s residence.

She alleged that he repeatedly made sexual advances toward her despite her making it clear that she was not interested.

The lady also claimed she was disappointed by the condition of his room, describing it as untidy. She added that she bought drinks and biscuits for herself because she did not want to eat the cold meal he offered.

“He Packed My Bag and Sent Me Out”

The lady alleged that the situation escalated later that night after she continued rejecting his advances.

According to her, at about 12:26 a.m., the man packed her belongings and ordered her to leave his house.

She claimed he told her that if she was unwilling to sleep with him, she had no reason to remain there.

“He kept touching me, but I told him I wasn’t interested. Around 12:26 a.m., he packed my bag, threw me out of his house and said if I wouldn’t sleep with him, I should leave.”

Since sharing her experience, the story has attracted widespread attention across social media platforms.

While many people sympathized with the lady and condemned the alleged treatment she received, others urged social media users to exercise caution before travelling long distances to meet someone they only know online.
