VeryDarkMan Reacts to EFCC Invitation, Posts Photo Evidence

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, has extended an invitation to social media star Martins Vincent Otse, better known online as VeryDarkMan.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, has extended an invitation to social media star Martins Vincent Otse, better known online as VeryDarkMan. This followed a complaint that attorney Blessing Agbomhere of Blessing Agbomhere & Partners filed with the EFCC.

The petition called for a comprehensive investigation into VeryDarkMan’s and activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju’s financial dealings, sponsorship agreements, and financing sources.

VeryDarkMan responded on social media, claiming that the investigation is a deliberate attempt to stifle dissenting opinions in the nation.

The activist also claimed that members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, or APC, are utilising the legal system to start the investigation in order to stifle public criticism of the flaws of the current administration.

“They want to prevent us from criticising this corrupt government that has failed to save Nigerians’ lives. On his Instagram profile, VeryDarkMan stated, “So, they used their people to write petitions.”
