Funke Akindele denies snubbing fuji legend, Pasuma at Lagos event
Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress and filmmaker, has refuted rumours that she ignored Fuji musician Pasuma at a weekend event in Lagos. The moment the Fuji icon attempted to attract Akindele attention as she was striking up a conversation with someone else was captured in a video that went viral on X. In the footage, Pasuma returned to his seat as the actress carried on talking to the other individual.
It has been conjectured that the actress purposefully ignored the fuji legend since the video went viral.
The video was uploaded by X influencer Uoladiti, who wrote, “Moment Funke Akindele snubbed Pasuma in public.” It doesn’t look good at all.
Funke Akindele responded by refuting the accusations, stating that she danced and greeted Pasuma at the same event.
“Nub? No way. Please stop being negative. I danced with him after seeing and greeting him. My Egbon is a pasuma. Please put an end to this evil, she wrote. According to the newspaper, Funke Akindele recently gained notoriety for ignoring Toyin Abraham, her coworker, during a film presentation.
Abraham swore he would never approach Akindele again after the public rejection.
