Ogun Community Appeals To Gov Abiodun To Fix Deteriorating Road

Concerned about the terrible condition of its 7.5-kilometer road, the Imala ward 14 community in Ogun State’s Abeokuta North Local Government area has requested assistance from the Ogun State government.
They bemoaned the road’s lacklustre quality and its impact on the community growth. They made the request in a statement that was made accessible to journalists in Abeokuta on Sunday and signed by Mr. Steven Adetomiwa, the Imala Development Coordinator.
Adetomiwa requested Governor Dapo Abiodun to rebuild the road, stating that it was long overdue and was originally built by Chief Obafemi Awolowo.
“On behalf of the Imala ward 14 community in Abeokuta North Local Government, we write to express our gratitude for your extended two-term tenure as Ogun State Governor and to wish you many more prosperous future endeavours,” the statement said.
“Imala, the regional Westerns administrative headquarters in Abeokuta North Local Government, hereby requests that you build the 7.5 km of road that cross the township. “Ward 14 of the Abeokuta North Local Government cast a large number of votes in favour of your two terms as governor.
“We are going to enjoy the benefits of democracy from your time as Ogun State ruler thanks to your willingness and support on this initiative. With your instructions on the building of this route, this will also be our finest chance to develop this constituency.
